Bald Peak Colony Club Renovation and Addition

The NH Lakes Region firm of Samyn-D’Elia Architects, was contacted by Bald Peak Colony Club to develop plans for renovating the Grille Room, and expand the outdoor terrace areas.  The program for the exterior expansion was to include a new outdoor bar and kitchen, outdoor bar service and expanded seating areas with a fire pit.  The plan perspective at left shows how Samyn-D’Elia architects achieved the members’ goals while staying within the projected budget.

Note that the addition reflects the traditional New England architectural style of the existing building.

The club wanted an expanded bar area in the Grill Room that would allow more seating.  After reviewing the existing building conditions, the architect saw space available by eliminating a back stairway adjacent the dining area.  Now the service space and support areas  of the bar are larger, will function  more efficiently, and more seating has been added.
