New Hampton School Renovation and Addition

Samyn-D’Elia Architects was recommended to design the renovation and addition to one of the oldest buildings on the New Hampton School campus, Meservey Hall, by a former client.  The client knew from working with Samyn-D’Elia Architects  that listening carefully to the client’s program, designing a building that is aesthetically attractive and within the proscribed budget and continuing to  deliver a high level of service throughout the project was typical for this firm.  The program called for a complete renovation of the existing structure along with a seamless addition of over 9,000 SF of space

The north elevation shown here continues the traditional architectural style found throughout the campus, but with state of the art energy efficient insulation and heating systems.

The floor plan maximizes the use of space and daylight, allowing the efficient traffic flow of students and faculty while incorporating sustainable building elements.

Construction is planned to begin in May after school closes for the summer.
